Once submitted, one of our team members will reach out to you within three business days to schedule a phone call and learn more about your career goals, preferences, and background. We strive to provide personalized mentorship and guidance for all applicants.

Why AHC?

Join our free personalized career mentorship program at American Heroes Connect, where you’ll experience a two-yearlong mentorship designed to assist you with your civilian career goals. Our team will select a mentor based on your career interests and professional history to create a tailored action plan for your mentorship. You and your mentor will speak monthly to discuss your interest and together establish realistic goals in support of your career. AHC will support you throughout the mentorship process to ensure full success.

Our customized program is designed to assist you whether you are actively searching for a new career or newly employed and looking for advice on how to advance in your new role. Our typical mentorship topics include understanding of potential career field, resume review and interview preparation, career exploration, work-life balance, networking, relationship building, and job searching approach.

Mentoring Program Eligibility

At American Heroes Connect, we are dedicated to providing personalized mentorship and guidance to service members, veterans, and military spouses who meet our eligibility criteria. These criteria include active duty service members (including members of the Reserve and National Guard), veterans of the armed forces who have served at least 180 days on active duty orders since September 11, 2001, surviving spouses and spouses of severely wounded post-9/11 veterans, and service members who served less than 180 days of active duty since 9/11 but were injured while serving or training.
